This is not the blog you are looking for...

I have officially gone nuts without my dog.

I went out to put up some lost dog posters. I walked through this street I haven’t really seen/walked by before and I see a cute pup and start to play with it. This old lady asks me if the dog is mine, and I’m like “No, not really, I think it lives here.” Then she tells me that she hadn’t really seen it before and that to her understanding, the people from the house the dog was in, didn’t own any pets at all. I asked the neighbor, and he told me that she was most likely abandoned nearby. What do I do? I scoop up the pup and take it with me.

It made me sad to think that there would be another dog out there without shelter and food and I just took her. Now, I’m mostly just confused as to what to do with the dog.

I fed her (she was apparently really hungry) and gave her water. She was really shy at first, but now she’s playing and running around. I really like her, but it’s too soon to just take another dog. Plus, my mom would most likely be really pissed because I brought her here without consent.

The old lady also told me that there was some other old lady that picks up stray dogs, cats or any other animal that she finds, feeds them, sterilizes them, etc. So, I’m waiting on my boyfriend so he can help me find that house to see if maybe she has my dog and is willing to take the one I found today. Who, by the way, I’ve named Foxy Mantequilla. Because she looks like a fox and is butter colored.

I’m so clever.
